Magic on the Overpass – Magination Images: Southern Oregon Photography
While I absolutely love the expansive variety of natural settings that living in Southern Oregon affords me as a photographer, sometimes I feel the need to mix it up a little. For this shoot I chose one of Medford, Oregon’s busiest overpasses for location. We set up the shots mainly on the meridian and pedestrian walkway around 5pm when there would be a little more traffic. The wind was gusty and the cloud cover fast moving which pushed me to really be on top of my camera settings to compensate for the changing light. Aside from the subject being continually cat-called (comeon, she’s gorgeous) it was a pretty slick shoot. I love the mood that the cloud cover lent the images. We used Magination Images’ go-to hair & makeup girl, Donnye Sabo – I love her work! It’s fun sessions like this one that really brings home my passion for photography.
