A Fun Family Session with Magination Images’ Family Photography

I’ve said it before: Photographing the babies of previous maternity clients is a super treat! It was so fun to reconnect with these clients and meet Toby for the first time! This precious little boy had made the cutest bump and is an equally cute little baby! The day of the session it was a cold, overcast winter’s day and we shot at Bear Creek Park in Medford. Winter photography can be a challenge. Overcast skies can make for some dramatic, moody photos, but sometimes that’s not appropriate for the session. In post process, I worked to bring out more vibrant colors and composited some skies to make the day seem less dreary. A vivid sky-scape and a little more color here and there can help brighten the feel of the images. And, with the bright colors of little Toby’s plaid shirt, I felt that a more vivid background was a better fit. I loved the way that this family session turned out!
