Fall is always a busy season for portrait photographers, and with the fires this summer, I had reschedules to squeeze between my regular family sessions. Suffice to say, I’ve been up to my neck in edits. Adobe haunts my dreams. As for what‘s on the horizon…While I‘ve wrapped up my 2018 weddings and mini-sessions, I’ll be working on fine art projects this winter, and I have a great boudoir event planned for January 2019—stay tuned for details.
For those of you interested, the time-lapsed video below gives a great overview of my editing process. I don’t use pre-made actions or presents, and for the sake of education, I forewent keyboard shortcuts. In the coming year, I’ll have a Patreon account with different subscription tiers available. That will focus on education and art, rather than the business end of photography.
My Patreon will feature tutorials on shooting and editing and offer a wide variety overlays, actions, and presets that I’ve created. As my editing style is my niche in my local market, subscriptions will only be available to artists working outside a hundred mile radius of Southern Oregon.

In the meantime, have a safe and wonderful holiday season.
